Loved our two-day getaway! Our courtyard-facing room was calm, relaxing and cushy. Appreciated the extra touches, including cookies upon arrival and nightly chocolates. The newly revealed lounge features stunning Erica Tanov textiles and provided a cosy place to read one rainy afternoon. Tony, the bartender, was spot on with his recommendations, especially the roasted Brussel sprouts. Already looking forward to returning!

The El Dorado recently refurbished all of the rooms. The results are fabulous. My room overlooked Sonoma Plaza with a spacious balcony. The rooms are beautifully decorated with all the modern conveniences and amenities you would expect at a 5-star hotel at half the price. I love the vibe at El Dorado, having stayed there at least a half dozen times. In fact, it is the best hotel in the plaza by a long shot.

The room was a good size and had all of the necessary amenities. We particularly appreciated the ample number of charging outlets on both sides of the bed and the large bathroom. We also loved the ability to enter and exit the hotel via the parking lot instead of the lobby.
